History: Before joining Clarkson, Walsh & Coulter, John was a sole practitioner at the Law Office of John Dempsey, LLC in Flemington, New Jersey from 2002 through 2019 practicing law in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, asset/business sales, construction/home improvements disputes, commercial litigation, landlord/tenant matters, estate planning and estate administration.  From 2000 through 2002, John was an associate at the Law Office of Arnold J. Calabrese that specialized in community association law.  From 1993 to 2000, John worked as an associate at the Law Office of Philip J. Maenza, P.C., practicing law in the following areas:  traffic, criminal and quasi-criminal matters, matrimonial law/domestic violence, personal injury, commercial litigation, workers compensation, real estate, wills and trusts, landlord/tenant matters, and estate administration.  From 1997-2000, John was the Public Defender for the Township of Fairfield, New Jersey.
